The Vinedresser's House

Set in stunningly beautiful Northern California, The Vinedresser's House provides a private and personal experience of care, compassion, education and community.  We offer a myriad of personal, practical, and educational experiences that cater to you.  Whether you are a single; a small group; a family; a business; an outdoorsman; or a church group, we have what you need.

We believe that nature and beauty are tools God uses to touch the soul, spirit and body. We offer a peaceful answer to those who are hurting, weary or in need of respite.  We are here for you, and we have what you need to get where you are going.

We believe that learning should be done in an atmosphere of community, with teachers, professors and pastors who have not only read about but have lived within the situations and experiences of which they teach.  We provide educational relationship rather than limited academic instruction.  We teach not only knowledge, but life experience and understanding.  Our educational system uses books in conjunction with community relationship to prepare those entering and continuingly train those already serving in a ministry, laity, social or business as ministry atmosphere.  We offer one, two and three year programs that delve into the Bible along with Ministry and Spiritual life.  We also provide continuing relationship and teaching to encourage further growth.  In addition, we offer specific training programs such as Neighborhood and Disaster Chaplaincy.  We will develop a program to meet specific organizational needs.

As a Judeo-Christian ministry, we also offer teachers, coaches, pastoral counselors and guides to you in private or group situations. It is our belief that the Bible contains principles that provide all the answers to all problems, situations, difficulties, and directions of life. Our facilitators, professors and teachers speak from a biblical perspective.  We also believe that psychology and spirituality go hand in hand.  If one is in need, both are in need.  We employ an approach that allows the sojourner to learn and appropriate both spiritual and psychological healing.  In addition, we believe that the body is intricately connected to the mind and spirit.  We care for the body in practical ways so that the spirit and mind may be unhindered in its quest for peace, stability, and direction.
